How to participate

To match its first milestone of June 2007, the MOSAICA Projet has defined a series of short term goals :

Design of the MOSAICA Application

  • Develop a vision of the future user experience with the MOSAICA Application, in particular in relation to the Virtual Expedition concept
  • Identify user and system requirements
  • Define the MOSAICA System architecture
  • Develop a methodology for designing Virtual Expeditions

Semantics Engineering

  • Define the semantics needed for operating the future MOSAICA Application (special effort needed to address GIS/TIS)
  • Define the semantics needed for supporting access to digital resources

Jewish Cultural Heritage

  • Set up the MOSAICA Board of Directors
  • Define criteria for selecting digital content resources, including ethical issues
  • Define the MOSAICA IPR policy
  • Identify interesting collections and resource owners
  • Find an agreement for use of a firt set of collections with their owners
